Chapter 8 – Changes in a Young Nation Menu • 1. Create a timeline with a 1-2 sentence summary of each event. Next, write how each event connects to any of the five ideals (democracy, equality, liberty, opportunity and rights). • 2. Create a cartoon that shows the development of the nation in the years after the constitution. Your cartoon must include all term/events along with your graphics and dialogue (there needs to be a story!) Humor is optional . • 3. Examine two different points of view of the history covered.
