  2. EAC Purpose & Function • Serves to advise the Director and/or designee about issues that affect civilian employees regarding matters of general welfare. • Act to facilitate communications among employees and Directors of the Department.

  3. Transportation to Terminal • Employee Dilemma:15 minute walks to Terminal are required to perform various job related duties. • EAC Solution:Purchase two new vehicles that will serve to transport Administrative employees to and from the Terminal. • ADDED BONUS:the vehicles purchased are electric powered!!!

  4. Store Room Inventory • Simplified Procurement Process by shortening the time that it takes to get material. • More inventory items are now housed in the Storeroom. • Senior Store Keeper and Store Keeper now enter inventory request into AMS. • Warehouse Manager approves pending inventory DO in AMS.

  5. Dress Code & Uniforms • The following improvements to the dress code and uniform policies have been APPROVED: • Business Casual Fridays:Employees are permitted to wear blue jeans on Fridays! • Uniforms:order 5 complete sets 2 times/year • Department wide logo established • Names placed on shirts ordered APPROVED

  6. Additional Improvements • 4TH Friday Initiative:Provides Aviation employees the opportunity to come together for the purpose of celebrating teamwork. • Aviation “Who to call List”:Provides contact information for specific Airport related issues. • Improvement Teams (iTEAMs):8 teams consisting of employees from several divisions/levels of the department are assigned focal areas to improve.
