2009 AYP Results • All 40 elementary campuses met all AYP requirements • 11 of 12 middle school campuses met all AYP requirements • 5 of 7 high school campuses met all AYP requirements • 1 special campus met AYP requirements • CCISD as a district did not meet requirements for AYP • 57 out of 60 or 95% of CCISD campuses met AYP requirements as compared to 52 out of 60 or 87% of campuses last year Every student a learner … Every learner a graduate … Every graduate a success!

2% and 1% Special Education Cap • The number of students taking the TAKS Modified test and counted as passed on AYP is limited to 2% of the total number of students tested on all TAKS tests for the subject. • The number of students taking the TAKS Alternative test and counted as passed on AYP is limited to 1% of the total number of students tested on all TAKS tests for the subject. • All students who pass beyond the 2% and 1% limits are counted as non-proficient for AYP accountability regardless if they “met the proficiency” standard or not.
