  4. Jika jumlah kelas mendekati tak hingga, luas kelas relatif kecil sekali, maka garis poligon tidak patah tetapi lengkung halus (smooth)

  5. Garis lengkung yang halus dinamakan kurva frekuensi

  6. Kurva frekuensi dibedakan • Kurva frekuensi simetris • Bila kurva dilipat tepat di tengah maka setengah lipatan akan menutup setengah lipatan lainnya • Kurva frekuensi asimetris • Bila kurva dilipat tepat di tengah maka setengah lipatan tidak akan menutup dengan tepat setengah lipatan lainnya
