  3. That. It points at something far away. NOT The book Doubt • Huroof-e- Muqata’at. Qata’a is cut. So Huroof-e-Muqata’at means the isolated letters. In writing they are joined but they are read separately. The actual meaning of these letters is only known to Allah. • In it. It is 2 words: • 1- في which means in • 2- ه which means it.

  4. Guidance Those who Those who believe. The root letters are أم ن which means who believe, who have faith, they have peace. To have peace means to have no fear. ل stands for ‘for’ is those who safeguard themselves. Those who adopt Taqwa. What is Taqwa? The root is و ق ي, meaning to safeguard self to be careful, to be cautious, to have Taqwa. To have Taqwa means to fear Allah.

  5. AND • It means the salah or prayer. The root word is ل وص which means to incline however if the root words are يلص it means to burn as in burning the sins. • AND • From what • مم which means from • ما which means what • They establish. It comes from the word إقامة (Iqama) which means to straighten out. So this does not imply only doing the daily prayers but performing them correctly in all possible ways with all the prescribed conditions: • Regularity • Punctuality • Inward concentration • Humility • Awe • We gave them sustenance. The root word is رزق. has three parts to it: • رزق meaning sustenance. • ن meaning we • هم meaning they • With the unseen. • ب means with. • is something that is hidden. It something that ones’ five senses cannot perceive.

  7. WHAT AND AND From • It means before you. • قبل meaning before • ك means you. • Towards you. • إلى which means towards. • ك means you. • It is being repeated. It means sent down or revealed. 1- ب means with 2- الآخرة means the hereafter. means the last, something that will come at the end.

  8. Guidance Those people They • Upon • Do not confuse إلى and على. إلى means towards and على means upon. • They believe with certainty. The root words areن قي which means clear and proven. The thing that makes the heart, the intention, the intellect subservient. • إيمان is the first degree. يقين is the last degree. And the amount of عمل (work) in both of them is the same.

  9. رب is Rabb • هم meaning they They Those people From Those who attain success. It is the plural of مفلح. The root word is ل ح ف which means to cut or tear. فلح means success. And فلاح means farmer. A farmer cuts and digs the earth. The one who cuts or tears is a فلاح. And فلح means complete success. It means Dunyah and Akhira success. The one who attains success in Dunyah and Akhira is a مفلح. And
