أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم From With Allah • Comes fromنط ش In Arabic it means the far thing. Why is he called Shaytan? Because he became far away from Allah’s mercy. • Root word is مرج In Arabic it means to hit with stones. So رجيم means one that is hit by stone. One stone hit and repelled, rejected far away. In this case far away from Allah’s blessings. It means to be expelled from all types of righteousness. I Seek Refuge
The root is اسْ م • which means name. • So ﷲبِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ means with the name of Allah • Also comes from the root words محْر The difference, however, is that اارَّحِيم means repeatedly Merciful or continuously Merciful. It signifies ones whose mercy is perfect in all possible ways. This is more in specific with the believers. • The root is محْرwhich means the mothers womb. This way the mother has a special love and affection for the child. So رَّحْمَنِ means the Most Beneficent or Merciful. It has exaggeration. It signifies ones whose mercy is common to all and extends to the whole universe
The root is رب ب, which means one who nurtures. This nurturing is done step by step slowly. It is significant because it means to make something attain one condition after another until perfection is reached. ربّ basically nourishes us to the state of perfection. It means Nurturer and carer. • The root is ملع It means a sign or a mark. In Arabic it means a flag. It signifies identification. So عالم (world) means all the things that Allah has recognized. عالمين (Plural: Worlds) includes all forms of existence, sky, sun, earth, moon, wind, jinn, and people. It means the worlds. • The root isدمح. This word in Arabic is not only used for praise but also for being grateful. The ال in this word changes it from a common noun to a proper noun.
These two words are being repeated and have been explained previously.
يَوْمِ means day. • The root is ك لم In Arabic it means king. And Mallik mean the Owner. Kings own many things. So كِلِمَـ means to posses something in such a manner that one has the right and power to dispose of it as one likes. الدِّينِ means recompense. • الدِّينِ يَوْمِtherefore means day of recompense. It represents the day of Qiyamah.
Only you And only you We seek help. • The root is نوع We worship. • The root isدبعwhich means slave.
The path The Straight Guide us • The root is يده. This means guidance. It includes three things: • To show the path • To make one walk on a path • Making one reach the destination.
You blessed • The root is • مْعَن. نْعَمْتَ means blessing Those who Other than Path Upon them. There are two word here. • عَلَيْ which means on • هِمْ which means them.
The root isبضغwhich means wrath/anger. Those who earned anger. Upon them N O T A N D
It is a plural form of the wordضَّآلِّ. It means those who have gone astray. • The root isل لض Which means to loose. Therefore making it those who lost their path.
