  3. WPFL Hospital Campaign A dynamic collaboration of: Donation Community: Hospital development and public relations staff at organ, eye, and tissue donation organizations Hospitals: Public relations and other staff in the nation’s hospitals Modeled after LOPA/LHA, Michigan, and others

Since June … • The campaign was launched – June 29 • National Partners were recruited (8) • The Leadership Team (LT) was identified and provides guidance • Calls with National Partners helped identify enrollment, communication, and recognition strategies • Learning Session (LS) calls began in October

National Partner Outreach Activities • Posting campaign materials and information on their websites • Sending email blasts to their members • Placing announcements/articles in newsletters • Posting on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, RSS feeds • Sending a message from the organization’s president/CEO • Messaging in employee email signature blocks • Webinars • Presentations at national conferences • Targeting trade publications (specific providers) • Copying toolkit onto CD and sending to all organization members • Disseminating press releases • Reaching out to state and metropolitan hospital associations The American Hospital Association (AHA) press release.

AHA • Sent CD of HRSA toolkit and letter from AHA president to over 6,000 members, OPOs, and State Hospital Associations, and HR and PR directors and volunteers • Posted HRSA toolkit on AHA web site • Issued national press release on PR newswire • Encouraging State, regional, and metropolitan associations to partner with OPOs and DLA affiliates
