StudentLink http://www.bu.edu/studentlink/ • Diploma and Graduation Information (under “Academics” tab) • Diploma name, as of March 12th, 2014, will be used for commencement programs. • Indicate graduation ceremony attendance. • Update diploma mailing address. • Student Account Inquiry (under “Money Matters” tab) • Diploma can only be released if there is no outstanding balance.

Signout http://dent-sps.bumc.bu.edu/sps/ • Carefully read instructions in Dr. Jones’ email regarding signout. • SPS instructions can be found here: http://www.bu.edu/dental/about/offices/registrar/signout/ • Actively monitor and review SPS to keep track of your signout process. • Office of Academic Affairs will be the second to last signature: 100 E. Newton St., G708 Boston, MA 02118

Signout http://www.bu.edu/dental/about/offices/registrar/ • After obtaining all other signatures go to the Office of the Registrar, in the Robinson Building, with your BU ID card to complete signout. • Directions available on the Office of the Registrar website. Signout Dates http://www.bu.edu/dental/students/graduation/predocsignout/ • Signout completed by Thursday, May 15th: • Official graduation date is May 18th, 2014. • Diploma distributed at SDM Commencement on May 16th. • Diplomas will be mailed to students who completed signout, but do not attend the commencement ceremony. • Verification of graduation requests will be processed on or after Monday, May 19th. • Final transcript (with degree and date) requests will be processed on or after Monday, May 19th. • Signout completed between Monday, May 19th and Friday, August 29th: • Official graduation date is September 25th, 2014. • Diploma mailed to diploma mailing address by the University. • Students may also request to pickup diploma at the Office of the University Registrar on or after Thursday, September 25th (http://www.bu.edu/reg/graduation/diploma-pickup-september/). • Verification of completion requests can be processed on or after signout date. • Verification of graduation requests can be processed ONLY on or after Thursday, September 25th, 2014. • Final transcript (with degree and date awarded) requests can be processed ONLY on or after Thursday, September 25th, 2014.

  8. Verification • You must read all materials/instructions carefully prior to submitting license and board applications. Requirements vary by state/country and some will not accept a verification of completion. • Verification of graduation and final transcript (with degree and awarded date) requests can only be processed on or after your official graduation date. • Questions regarding program extension and Optional Practical Training (OPT) should be directed to Ms. Mary Andrea Popa.
