General Planning TIDVG2014 Graphite Aluminium Tungsten Lower Yoke Core Upper Yoke Copper • Necessary operations to produce the TIDVG2014: • Prepare spare yokes  Disassemble TIDVG2004 (radioactive) and remove old core. • Prepare new coreFinalize the bake-out and place temperature sensors. • Assemble and test TIDVG2014 (alignment survey + water leak test). • Remove TIDVG2013 (damaged TIDVG presently installed in BA1 - SPS). • Install, test and bake-out the new TIDVG2014.   3. Completed Tasks • Assembly of the TIDVG2004 + Pressure test (EN/STI, HE/HH & DGS/RP) OK Bldg. 954

Operations for Next Weeks • Week 28/07 – 01/08: • Installation of the PT100’s on the core & transport to Bldg. 954. • Assembly of the TIDVG2014 & water leak test. • External cabling preparation • Alignment survey • Acceptance of TIDVG2014 (Project milestone!) • Week 04/08 – 08/08: • BA1-SPS area preparation • Week 11/08 – 15/08: • Removal of TIDVG2013 • Installation of TIDVG2014 • Following weeks: • Bake-out in tunnel
