  2. TADS Data Collection • TADS Outage Information (mandatory) • WECC Collects Data in Addition to TADS (voluntary) • Transmission Line Inventory • Transformer Inventory • Common Corridor Inventory • Annual Process • Elements 200 kV and Above

Existing WECC Process • TO’s complete and submit the TRD spreadsheets to WECC staff • Consists of the following: • NERC forms: 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 3.3, 4.4, 6.4 • WECC forms: Transmission Inventory, Transformer Inventory, Common Corridor and Outages • WECC staff converts the WECC forms into the NERC Format. • WECC forms convert to the following NERC forms • 3.1, 3.2, 3.4, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.0, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 • WECC staff uploads all the NERC forms onto webTADS

  4. Moving to Quarterly Submittals and 100 kV Threshold • With the current process, WECC could not handle the request for TADS to go on a quarterly submittal and down to 100 kV • NERC proposes that WECC utilize the webTADS tool for TO’s to submit forms

  5. Option Chosen • Allow webTADS to be able to import the WECC TRD inventories and use the NERC outage forms for the current outage tab in the WECC spreadsheets • Cost/NERC would fund this option and monthly cost • Aligned with continent-wide process • Keep all TRD inventories • TO’s will import this into webTADS

Future Reporting Forms with Option 2 • TADS Forms • 1.1 Non – Reporting TO Statement • 1.2 Reporting TO Statement • 2.1 Tie Lines and Jointly Owned AC & DC • 2.2 Jointly Owned AC/DC BTB Converters • Transmission Inventory Data • Transformer Inventory Data • Common Corridor Inventory Data • 3.3 AC/DC BTB Converter Inverter Data • 3.4 Summary Automatic Outage Data • 4.1 AC Circuit Detailed Outage Data • 4.2 DC Circuit Detailed Outage Data • 4.3 Transformer Detailed Outage Data • 4.4 AC/DC BTB Converter Detailed Outage Data • 5.0 Event Code Data • 6.1 AC Circuit Non Automatic Outage Data • 6.2 DC Circuit Non Automatic Outage Data • 6.3 Transformer Non Automatic Outage Data • 6.4 AC/DC BTB Converter Non Automatic Outage Data • NERC TADS Forms • WECC TRD Sheets
