CSE 3 Fluency with Information Technology MY CSE 3 POSTER By Adrienne Bidwell Presentation of Information with MS PowerPoint Dynamic Webpage Programming Using JavaScript Computational Thinking Overview CSE 3 helped me very much with my computer skills. I learned how to organize data and it taught me the basic computer skills that can help carry me along my career. I now how the knowledge I need to help me with other computer projects in my life I really enjoyed taking CSE 3 because it taught me all I needed to know about the basic fundamentals of computer science. I really believe the material I learned through out this course will help me with jobs, internships and my overall career goals. I know have the knowledge needed to do basic computer programming projects such as making a spreadsheet on excel, making a basic webpage for a company, and using JavaScript to program material. I learned the basic fundamentals in JavaScript in Labs 7 & 8. I used Notepad ++ to create a style sheet that I was able to upload online and preform a simple task of ordering triton shirts and adding in all of the costs. In JavaScript, I learned the If/else codes and how to make alerts appear in a webpage. Desktop Publishing withMSWord I learned how to publish material on the internet. Lab #2 taught me how to use html and create a spreadsheet and put it online for the general public to see. Visual Programming With Alice In Lab 6, I learned how to use the program called ALICE. I learned the basics of this program and all of its features including how to make a world full of different objects and instances. I also learned a lot of the key elements of this program such as looping, and parameters. In the end I was able to make an animated world of my own and have each object preform different tasks . Data Analysis and Visualization Using Excel Presentation of Information with MS PowerPoint Making Information Available to the World with HTML and Web Pages In Lab 5 I learned how to create a PowerPoint presentation. I was able to organize different slides and input some of the graphs that I created inn excel. In PowerPoint, I learned how to design my own presentation and use my creativity to make a very organized and creative presentation. In labs 4 and 5,I learned the basics of Excel. I learned how to put information in cells, and design spreadsheets that could help me organize data. -Converting data into charts and using those charts to make predictions about real life scenarios such as taxes and stocks. In Labs 1, and 3 I learned how to create and publish an HTML page and upload it to the internet server. I learned the basic HTML skeleton and I learned the basic codes that are needed to make a website of my own. This was very helpful for me because now I can carry what I learned from HTML and apply it my upcoming life careers and goals.
