The main conflict in this story is that there is a gang war going on between two gangs called socs and greasers.Manv Man Conflict
The summary of this book is that there is a group of young boys wich the parents of 2 of the boys died in an auto-wreck and the judge would only let them live toghether if they behave and whenever one of the boys kills a person of the opposite gand every body had to fight for them selves. I think the point of view for this story is in Pony Boy's point of view and it helps the reader understand the story because pony boy saw most of what happened in the story.I think the story would be different if it was from someone else's point of view because that person probably didn’t see most of what happened in the story. Mostly all of the socs drive blue mustangs and the story would be much different if they all drove different cars because the greasers wouldn’t know if the car driving up to them would be a regular person or a gang of socs. Symbolism
I think young people should read this book because it’s a really good book and it has most of the things that a young person would probably be able to understand. Recommendation
