  4. In this small town there’s two groups that are sworn enemies! The greasers and the socs . The greasers are gangs that wear heavy gel and they don’t have a lot of money. The socs are people that are wealthy and they wore lots of rings and white and yellow t-shirts. Conflict

  5. A boy named Ponyboy is in for a huge challenge that most teens have never faced! Ponyboy is on a dangerous journey! This story is sad ,and heart warming. Summary of Plot

It doesn’t matter where or who you are. • Pg-168: Dally has been in our gang for years we’re not just going to desert him. • Pg-141:Half the people I know that are greasers are pretty decent, and from what I’ve heard socs can be pretty cold blooded. • Pg-141:But people usually go by looks.   7. This book is written in first person. This point of view is thrilling it’s like reading a diary except your like a ghost. You can see what he sees and hear his thoughts. The way this would be different is we wouldn’t be able to know his thoughts which is what most readers would like to know. Point of View

  8. I believe the theme is not to judge people by where they’re from, or how society labels them. Symbolism

  9. This book was worth reading , for there were a lot of emotions going on and drama. Also for any guys out there it’s not a chick book! (so you will like it I guarantee it5!) Recommendation
