Fit City Worksite Wellness • Worksite assessment followed by recommendations to help start a wellness program • Businesses with over 50 employees in Mecklenburg County • Lower cost of health care, less work missed, improved productivity, better employee morale • Address this issue • Being more physically active at work • 57.2% adults overweight and obese • Sedentary lifestyle • Creating better access to healthier foods at work 2007 Annual Report to the Community and Board of Public Health, April 2008.
