COORDINATION BOARD (It is chaired by the Project Leader) EURISOL Design Study • to present reports on the progress of the individual task; • to make proposal concerning or modifying programme to be conducted; • to make proposal concerning the allocation or the re-allocation of specific task among the contractors; • to draft the project reports; • to identify contractor presenting financial or technical risks; • to resolve technical problems or any difficulty arising in connection with the task implementation; • to foster the connectivity among the individual task; • to evaluate and favour possible synergies with other projects. INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY PANEL(appointed by the SC) EURISOL Design Study • It is composed of three Int. Experts covering the domains of RIB Science, accelerators and high power production targets • It shall advice the SC on strategic and managerial aspects of the project, through the analysis of the activities implementation and the evaluation of the impact of the obtained results on the final objectives of the Design Study • It may be consulted, any time, by the SC and MB on specific scientific and organizational aspects.
The EURISOL-DS management informed that the EURISOL-DS week is planned from November 28 to December 1 at GANIL. Officially the EURISOL-DS contract is operative from February 1st , even if the contract is not signed yet. The budget will be available only after the signature of the contract (April/May?). Home institutions can advance travel expenses and ask to be refunded when the budget will be available. End of October at CEA Saclay, joint meeting with Tasks #2, #3, #5 and SAFERIB

Comparison between Low Density and High Density Uranium Carbide targets.
