The SC21 Journey History 1981 - formed as a sub-contract honing company by Colin Rodney 1994 - Andrea joined bringing only previous sales experience 1996 – purchased and refurbished 8,000 sq ft factory 2004 – rented 2 satellite units 2006 – capacity reached! The SC21 Journey The next steps Assign a dedicated customer service manager Achieve BS EN 9100:2003 and upgrade to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 Undertake training in Management, Supervisory and Lead Auditor skills Receive approval before the Aero Engineering Conference in November 2009. This set us a timescale of just under 6 months! Improve our communication systems and streamline all processes We achieved approval in September 2009 with a 95% conformance rating! The SC21 Journey SC21 implementation Signed up to SC21 in December 2009 as a self-starter & engaged TEC Aligned Business Strategy and associated documents to SC21 Conducted ManEx and BusEx diagnostics throughout May / June Confirmed Q & D results with SC21 working group Submitted our exposition and was awarded an SC21 Bronze in July 2010 And we achieved all this within 4 months!
