Proposed Amendment to Rule 61G15-23.003, FAC • Tightens up digital signature requirements to ensure identity vetting. • For electronic signatures, allows the signed and sealed SHA-1 report to be scanned and sent electronically as long as the original is retained by the engineer for 3 years.
Timeline for Amendment to Rule 61G15-23.003, FAC • July 17, 2013: Approved by FBPE Rules Committee • August 7, 2013: Approved by FBPE • September 9, 2013: Published in Florida Administrative Register • September 30, 2013: Deadline for public comment and to request hearing (21 days from publishing).
