  2. Who Are We? • JCAEOP Represents All Office Professionals: • Secretaries • Office Technicians • Para Educators for Children with Disabilities • Library Media Technicians • ESL Tutors • Educational Tutors

JCAEOP -- Service • Provides High School Scholarships through our fundraiser: • “Jerry’s Nuts” • Professional Growth • Did you know that by completing 60 clock hours in workshops, in services, classes, you can receive an additional $11/month on your paycheck? (There are five increments which can be attained) • Mentoring program for new secretary employees

  8. WHY C.S.E.A? CSEA was established to collectively bargain for and to provide representation on behalf of all classified employees of Jefferson County Public Schools. CSEA is designed to be a responsive, flexible organization able to initiate and maintain an effective channel of communication with the School District’s administrators.

  9. DID YOU KNOW? • CSEA is recognized by Jefferson County Public Schools as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all classified employees of the District and as such bargain for: • Wages • Benefits • Hours • Working Conditions • Employee Rights

  10. What Does CSEA Do For Me? • Negotiate any changes in classified agreements including annual cost-of living raises • Represents all classified employees by serving on District committees and Task Forces • Dedicated to preserving and protecting the interest of all classified employees • Will represent any employee who may need it through the grievance procedure.

What Can I Do To Help C.S.E.A? • Support CSEA by becoming a member. • Active members provide support in a number of ways: • Pay Dues • Attend Meetings & Functions • Attend Ratification Meetings • Communicate With Their Officers • Defend Their Association Against Invalid Criticism • Volunteer Help for Association Projects • Recruit Prospective New Members and non-members
