Project Scope • Migrating the state’s existing portal and content management system to a newer, more powerful platform that will entail: • Migrate from Vignette V/6 (TCL) to IBM WebSphere Portal Server and IBM/Lotus Web Content Management (ILWCM) • Migrate approximately 125 sites representing 18 State Agencies • Migrate approximately 400,000 content items of which 185,000 are General Content (press releases, news articles, FAQs, links, etc.) • Migrate Civil Service Commission’s eHR content management application to WebSphere Portal
Analytics and Search Engine • Coremetrics will be used for analytics in the new portal environment. • Surfaid will still be used during the migration for sites still in the Vignette environment. • Coremetrics will be used for the sites that are migrated to the new portal environment. • Cookies are required for Coremetrics so we are working on having them approved as well as having the Privacy Policy updated. • Google will still be the search engine.

How You Can Help • We need you to be available and engaged with us as we work through the migration of all sites. • During migration to the new platform, changes may be required to use the capabilities of the new system.
