Bloomingdale Ave/ Alafia River Tampa Bay Polk Co. Manatee Co. SouthShore Area • Covers the geographic boundary generally south of Bloomingdale Avenue/Alafia River, west of Polk County line, east of Tampa Bay and north of Manatee County line

Planning Process • Organized an Areawide Plan Working Committee • Inventoried pertinent information • Analyzed the information • Prepared Vision and Strategies and a plan of action

Environmental • Typical inventory data: • Existing Land Use patterns • Corridor Plan as proposed by SCRT • Natural Features - wetlands, water bodies • Past and present planning efforts - ELAP, Land /Water linkages
