LOG 204 Course Description • “…the course provides a broad overview of requirements to design, develop, implement, oversee, and operate a configuration management program across the system Life Cycle”. • Number of Lessons/Hours: 12 lessons / 20 hours / Distance Learning – 60 Day period • Objectives • Incorporate CM concepts, principles, processes throughout Life Cycle • Apply CM planning and performance measures to processes • Integrate latest initiatives, guidance and policies within CM practices and applications, e.g., Data Management, Performance-Based Logistics, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Materiel Shortages (DMSMS). • Target Attendees • Life Cycle Logisticians, Systems Engineers, Configuration Managers, Program Managers, others involved in development of systems and Life Cycle Support • Prerequisite(s) • ACQ 101, Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management
