Assimilation Status (May 2003) • USAF – policy memo coming out in next few weeks; expect few new workforce members • USN – very active in assimilation implementation efforts • Should 346’s be universally included? • Issues with depot maintenance workforce? • Projected completion date: Oct 2003 • Army – not sure where Army data call is • DLA – PCD worked across DLA centers • DLA will be conservative given BSM pressures • DLA team recommended about 190 positions for assimilation
