  8. Create a mind map or print out the Mongoose Trump Card sheet. Fill it in with a description of each Mongoose and details you found about habitat, diet and threats from the websites on the previous page. As well as the Meerkats, you will have found information about six different Mongoose relatives: Dwarf Mongoose Marsh Mongoose Banded Mongoose Malagasy Mongoose Indian Grey Mongoose Liberian Mongoose (why is there so little information about this Mongoose?)

EVALUATION INTRODUCTION • If you worked as a group, compare your information with everyone else's. • Using your Trump Card information sheets, create a set of ‘Mongoose Top Trump Cards’ to go with the ‘Meerkat Mail’ book. • Work out a point scoring system for each section of information you researched. • Can you identify which type of Mongoose each relative in the book is? • Does the way they are described in the story agree with the information you found out about them?   10. CONCLUSION INTRODUCTION • Read or listen to the ‘Meerkat Mail’ book again and think about the different relatives Sunny went to visit. How were they similar or different to the Meerkats? • Think about the route Sunny the Meerkat might have taken to visit all his relatives.
