Yamada at SVD meeting on Aug. 22, 2002 • Ladder mounting is almost ready to start. • Cleaning room • Anti-electrostatic-discharge sheets on the floor and desks • Ladder delivery status and schedule • 1st layer (6) : 7 delivered but one is not usable. • 2nd layer (12) : 14 delivered but two are not usable. • Two draw relatively large current. • (One is not yet tested in KEK.) • 3rd layer (18) : 10 delivered. (5 are not yet tested in KEK.) • Remaining 8 can be produced in Aug.-Sep • if IDEAS and/or Melbourne can salvage 16 hybrids. • 4th layer (18) : 22 delivered.

Schedule • We will start the ladder mounting on Aug. 26 since • Ishino-san is studying about the bad channel fraction of ladders • Better pins (smaller gap) will be available on Aug. 23. • 1st and 2nd layer ladders will be mounted by End of Aug. • Partial system test may be done with mounted ladders. • 3rd and 4th layer ladders will be mounted by Mid. Sep. • Final ladder mounting will be done in Dec. • and assembly with the Beam pipe in Jan.
