News • Will have regular meeting few days before status meeting, via Video/Skype dedicated to chamber construction issues. • Chambers from Dubna/Bucharest will be tested (leakrate/HV) at Hd (by Clemens) • Some chambers with long O2 decay time constant (‘Virtual Leaks’) • > will be marked on chamber and in Database

  3. News cont. • Chambers from Bucharest will be shipped march,6. March 11 Bucharest people will come to unpack and examine chambers. • Broken Dubna Chambers: • 2 Technicians from Dubna are at GSI now: • 15 Chambers will be repaired • 3 chambers have broken Rohacell on the chamber side of radiator: could be repaired, but question of gas tightness (Christian will think about it).

  4. Production Status Since Christmas: 40 more (finished) chambers: Global rate: 6 chambers/week

Production Schedule (60% TRD) • If we get more money: • 100% of chambers (324 for 60%, 270 for 50%) will be achieved in any case without need for any changes by end of Okt 2006. • If no more money flows: • Heidelberg/GSI could take over some L0C1 production from Frankfurt • Dubna will delay if 60%TRD, OK if 50%TRD

New 75% chambers complete Milestone • New milestone is required: 75% of chambers complete. • Counting chambers (regardless of type): • 75% (of 50%=203 chambers): 11.4.06 • 75% (of 60%=243 chambers): 12.6.06 ->75% interpolation between 50% and 100% milestone: 5/2006 ->75% Milestone: 6/2006 or 7/2006 • Same definition: 100%(270 chambers) achieved in 20.7. 2006

  8. Production Rate Frankfurt: • Theoretical rate: 1 chamber/ week • Optimistic: 3 ch/4 weeks (0.75) → 100% of 50/60%: 15.2.2007 100% of 100%: Jan. 2008 • Conservative: 0.5 ch/week 100% of 50/60%: 17.7.2007 100% of 100%: Nov. 2008
