7. 7 Purpose Provide electronic requests and approvals in WebTADS for overtime, compensatory time, religious compensatory time, and holiday work.

Only one approval is required for 20 hours or more of overtime

10. 10 Deadlines for Requests How late may I submit a request?
Requests for the current pay period may be made until the end of the pay period
Requests may not be for a prior pay period
A critical error will occur on timesheet if there is no corresponding request to enforce the policy
11. 11 Deadlines for Approvals How late may I approve a request?
Approvals may occur as late as the time of approval of the timesheet, which is typically after the payperiod has officially ended (WebTADS Monday)
Approval may be made “after” the time worked
If no action has been taken prior to the end of the pay period, a critical error will occur on the timesheet.

18. 18 Purpose Provide electronic requests and approvals in WebTADS for leave.
Leave Planner is an optional feature in WebTADS. Its use is up to the discretion of the supervisor / approver.
Replaces SF71
19. 19 Reason Per a memo from the Agency Administrator date May 16, 2002:
Employees will electronically request leave
Supervisors will electronically approve / disapprove within 48 hours
48 hours after notification of the request, the leave request is automatically approved
20. 20 Leave Planner Demonstration
21. 21 Leave Planner – Organizational View Monthly navigation up to 1 year in the future.
Approvers have the option to display the employees full name or initials (from List Timesheets).
Option to display the requested hours and hour type next to the employee’s name.
Displays all employees within the org requesting leave on a daily basis.
22. 22 Approve / Disapprove A request is routed to a single request approver.
The approver is selected from the timesheet approver list.
Use of the leave planner is up to the discretion of the approver.
Approvers have the option to “Approve” or “Disapprove” a request at any time.
Approved request may be disapproved (and vice versa).
Disapproved and Expired requests appear at the bottom of the leave planner for the requested month(s).
23. 23 48 Hour Approval Rule Lack of action from an Approver will result in submitted requests automatically be approved after 48 hours.
48 hours = 2 business days
Approvals will be documented as “48-hour approval” or by the Approver’s name

Request is not submitted yet, but the changes will be saved as is. All fields may be modified prior to submittal.
Submit for Approval
Request is submitted to the designated approver. No changes may be made by the Employee/POC after this point.
An employee can make a request and modify it repeatedly until the request is submitted for approval.

29. 29 Approving a Request A request is routed to a single approver, although, other approvers who have access to that organization can approve the request via the List Timesheets page.
The approver is notified via a system generated email message that a request has been submitted. This task is also visible on the List Timesheets page.
The details of the request are available for review, including the history, on the List Overtime Requests page.
30. 30 Approving a Request The approver’s actions include:
Approve
Disapprove
Modify (hours and justification)
Once a request has been approved or disapproved, the request may not be modified.

32. 32 Functions “Save for Later” saves data without submitting request to the approver.
“Submit for Approval” changes the request status and notifies the selected approver. Submitted requests may not be modified.
“Withdraw” removes request from leave planner.
Justification is required. Request may not be submitted without one.

Approver list includes all users allowed to approve request for employee’s organization
Status – indicates request status (e.g. Submitted, Approved, etc.)
Itemized list of all leave hour types and requested hours for the month.
Calendar – leave is requested on a monthly basis per day, per hour type
