  2. Położenie Bazy • Powstała w 1985 roku (choć wypadałoby lepiej napisać: stale powstająca) hufcowa stanica w Polewiczu koło Wilgi to ponad 3 hektary urokliwego lasu nad rzeką Wilgą. Autorką projektu zagospodarowania oraz budynków (nieodpłatnie) jest hm.Grażyna Karwowska-Winiarek. Przy budowaniu stanicy otrzymaliśmy pomoc od wielu osób - m.in. Janusza Kobusa, Wiesława Witaka, Tadeusza Barskiego, Jerzego Baranowskiego, licznej grupy instruktorów i harcerzy starszych, no i przede wszystkim Pawła Turkowskiego, nieżyjącego już b. wicewojewody siedleckiego.
