ENGAGED PROJECT THIS MONTH (GENERAL ADMIN) GA TASKS A. Office Building Information 1. The World Center: - Arranged for HReSmart seminar on 10th FL. - Followed some pending items of construction. 2. Norch building: - Handed over of supplement of fixed assets to relevant Division/Department. - New drawings of 7FL & 8FL sent to the landlord for confirmation.
ENGAGED PROJECT THIS MONTH (GENERAL ADMIN) GA TASKS (cont.) 4. Ladeco building: (Hanoi) - Final payment and liquidation of the construction contract. 5. Danang branch: - Final payment and liquidation of the construction contract. - Order more chairs for Agents in Sacombank. 6. Cantho building: Finding out office space in Cantho area. B. Other projects: 1. H1N1 measures for prevention and control. 2. Cost down proposal on electricity.

Legal Department Decision 88/2009/QD-TTg issued by the Prime Minister on 18 June 2009 regarding to Regulation of foreigner investors’capital contribution & share purchasing of Vietnamese companies • For public shareholding company: foreign investors (“FIs”) can buy maximum at 60% total shares while buying & purchasing security in Vietnam • For some specific fields which were stipulated by specific laws: rate for capital contribution (“CC”) or share purchasing (“SP”) must be must complied with such laws in CC & SP. • For Vietnamese companies on service & commerce business: FIs must obey the rate of commercial treaties that Vietnam is one of its members.
Legal Department Decision 88/2009/QD-TTg issued by the Prime Minister on 18 June 2009 regarding to Regulation of foreigner investors’capital contribution & share purchasing of Vietnamese companies • For Vietnamese companies which work on various fields with various rates for FIs’ CC or SP: FIs can contribute capital or purchase share at the minimum rate. • For 100% State’s capital companies which are privatized: rate for CC or SP must be complied with the approved plan of such companies. • For other cases: no limitation for rate of CC or SP. • This Decision shall become into valid from 15 August 2009 and taken a place of Decision 36/2003/QD-TTg.
Legal Department Transmitter Letter 38/TCT-VP issued by the Tax Bureau on 12 June 2009 deferment PIT According to Transmitter Letter 38, PIT deferment shall be continued to apply for June 2009. (It means employees don’t have to pay PIT until this June).
Main tasks This month: ► Legal Compliance Process has been approved by the BOD to be posted on data system this week to call a meeting to set up Legal Compliance System ► Contribution ideas to amend Circular 155/2007/TT-BTC, Circular 155/2007/TT-BTC & Decree 41/2009/ND-CP to collect ideas from all departments to send collective ideas to the AVI
Main tasks Next month: ► MOF’s inspections regarding to Circular 86/2009/TT-BTC & Decree 41/2009/ND-CP to collect reports from related departments to make a final report and send to the BOD ►CanTho Branch Establishment
