Be Nice to Computers Cont… • Don’t touch the screens • Be gentle with the mouse and headsets • Print with my permission only • Click once to print • Leave your space clean and organized
Be Nice to Others • Be polite to others at all times • Keep your hands on your own computer • Open only your own work
Internet Rules • Stay on approved websites • No emailing • No chatting • Never give out personal • information
Be Nice to the Smartboard • Don’t touch the Smartboard unless you have permission • Don’t bump the Smartboard
Classroom Rules • Stay in your seat • No running to computers • Raise your hand to speak • Do not interrupt others when they are speaking • Be an active listener • Be responsible and respectful at all times.
How to Get My Attention I need to get up I need help
Supplies • You will have a folder for Technology projects which will stay in the Lab at all times. • Pencils will be provided when needed and must be returned to the pencil basket at the end of each class.
Fire Drill Procedures • Line up quickly and silently • Exit the lab in a single file line • Go left and out the middle doors to the playground
Dismissal Procedures • Do not line up until you are dismissed • Walk to your line. Don’t do this: • When you are in line quietly wait for your classroom teacher.
