  2. Introduction • Imagine being able to read a persons emotions, whether they are telling you the truth or lying. Just by looking at their face. That’s what my career is. I was interested in this career since I saw the show Lie to Me*. Anyway this presentation will cover the nature of the job, working conditions, training/ qualifications, job outlook, earnings and other jobs related to a deception expert.

  3. Nature of Work • Work with police/FBI • Interrogate suspects • Help with testifying • Help with correction facilities

  4. Working Conditions • Mental • Indoors- police station/ FBI heaquaters • Flexible hours- “when they need you” • Environment is sometimes hostile working with convicts some times calm.

  5. Qualifications • At least a Bachelors in psychology • DeVry University • Psychology, Biology classes • FBI in Washington DC

  6. Job Outlook • Employed-147,600 • Jobs increasing by 0.6 • Stay in Michigan for education. • Go to Washington D.C, for job • Get a job with the FBI

  7. Earnings • 105,000k annually • I want a nice luxury car. • A nice largish house • First purchase- suit • Fits my bucket list

  9. Summery • Over all I like the career I chose. I like it because it’s a mixture of a Physiologist and a Law Enforcement Officer. You have the ability to predict what someone will do in the situation, and to be able to arrest them.I would love to have this career in the future.
