Introduction “Members of the U.S. military service train for and perform a variety of tasks in order to maintain the U.S. national defense.” I got interested in the army from my family. Both of my granddads, uncles and my dad were in the military and the story’s they shared with me sound so exciting that it made me want to experience what they did. I also feel like I am being guided towards that career which doesn't bother me, in fact it gets me excited for when I go into it. In order to get a better understanding of my choosing career field in the Army, I will be researching: nature of work, working conditions, training, qualifications, advancements, job outlook, earnings and my backup career.
Nature of Work • Participate in, or support, combat and other military operations, such as humanitarian or disaster relief • Plan, organize, and lead troops and activities in military operations • Provide military personnel with professional services in medical, legal, engineering, and other fields • Operate and command aircraft, ships, or armored vehicles • Operate, maintain, and repair equipment
Working Conditions military occupations depend on what branch you are in Physical :physically fit and participate in or support combat missions Mentally: They need to be mentally stable Indoors: Military bases Outdoors: Deployed combat areas Hours: 6-10 a day
Training, Qualification, Advancement Education: high school graduates In the future I plan to work out and be physically fit, so I plan to have all my credits done by senor year that way I can take multiple gym classes. I don’t have a plan to go to college.

Summary After researching my career, I do still want to join the army. I don’t like how I have to Participate in, or support, combat and other military operations, such as humanitarian or disaster relief; but its something I will have to do and if it means me going will let someone that was there come home to their family I think I can live with going into combat or other military operations. I'm most excited for either traveling around the world. I learned more about my career is that you only need a high school education to join.
