Initial plansfor WP 2 Objective: Coordination within the European Research Area DoW: Task 3.1 Assessment and support of Open Access for mapping and exchange of scientific and technical information (Lead: ILVO) Task 3.2 Researcher mobility and career progression (Lead: TEAGASC) Task 3.3 Facilitation of networking activities (Lead: DLO) Task 3.4 Continued Cooperation after the end of the ERA-Net (Lead: Teagasc)

Task 3.1 Assessment and support of Open Access for mapping and exchange of scientific and technical information (Lead: ILVO) • Main activities: • Prepare draft open access policy (Month 9 circulate before GB2) • Organise workshop of partners (@ GB2) • Task 6.1; Task 3.3 • Finalisepolicy and incorporate into funding calls (Month 12) • Task 2.1 • Encourage partners to develop their own open access policies

Task 3.2 Researcher mobility and career progression (Lead: TEAGASC) • Main activities: • Contribute to drafting of annual call documents, rules and procedures for evaluation and selection • Develop a protocol for an instrument that specifically addresses researcher mobility and career progression • Draft @ Month 8 • Discuss @ GB2 • Task 6.1 • Finalise & incorporate into call documents (month 12) • Task 2.1

Task 3.3: Facilitation of networking activities (Lead: DLO) • Main activities: • Networking between ICT-AGRI partners • Workshop 1 @ GB1 Open Access • Task 6.1 Task 3.1 • Networking between ICT-AGRI-2 and other transnational research coordination initiatives • Networking amongst ICT-AGRI funded researchers • Summit of ICT-AGRI-funded researchers @midpoint

Task 3.4 Continued Cooperation after the end of the ERA-Net (Lead: Teagasc) • Main activities: • Begin brainstorming on options for prolongation of network • ERA-NET COFUND (2016 – 2017 WP) • Marie Sklodowska Curie COFUND • Collaboration with FACCE (joint use of secretariat) • Workshop @ end of year 3 • Task 3.3; Task 6.1 • MOU describing continued cooperation after end of ERA-NET
