  2. CAVITACION Y NIVEL HIDROAEREO • Algunas lesiones focales se pueden cavitar por necrosis tisular, dejando • un area central de menor densidad • Si contienen liquido pueden presentar un nivel hiroaereo

  3. Protocolo ante imagen cavitada • Valorar el grosor de la pared: una pared gruesa e irregular sugiere neoplasia • Paredes mas finas y regulares sugieren • Neumatoceles o quistes broncogenicos

  4. Protocolo de imágenes cavitadas • Valorar el contenido • Valorar el nivel hidroaereo • Un hallazgo raro pero tipico es el del aspergiloma, en forma de • bola blanca en el interior

  5. Causas de lesiones pulmonares cavitadas • ABSCESO COMO EL DE LA DIAPOSITIVA • NEOPLASIA • INFARTO PULMONAR • ENFERMEDAD DE WEGENER • NODULOS REUMATOIDES • NEUMOCONIOSIS • SARCOMA DE KAPOSI

  6. SIGNO DE LA EMBARAZADA • CUANDO UNA MASA O NODULO PULMONAR ES MUY PERFERICO • HAY QUE DIFERENCIARLO DE UNA LESION EXTRAPULMONAR
