Casual games: Kitsch? • Art for the masses • Borrowed conventions, repurposed for popular appeal • Cliché? • Nostalgia and idealism? • Overt sentimentality? • Apple Season, Diner Dash, FarmVille • Puritanism, American Dream, pastoralism
