  3. WSCA/NASPO eProcurement Solutions Program Overview The purpose of this portion of the presentation is to provide an overview and update of this unique cooperative contract. The intent is to provide NASPO Directors an update on the following three topics: Overview of the eProcurement Solutions Program Status of Contract Adoption across the U.S. What is coming up for your benefit

  4. eProcurement Solutions Program Highlights Mission: Make available a comprehensive eProcurement Solutions and Services cooperative agreement to its members and public sector procurement organizations and providing resources to assist these organizations Objectives: Through the WSCA/NASPO Cooperative agreement, States and public sector have a solution which addresses their requirements for flexible and on-demand access to a suite of best of breed eProcurement-related services that includes electronic catalog management, automated procure-to-pay (P2P), e-sourcing (including reverse auction and other forms of online solicitation), analysis & reporting and contract management.

  5. eProcurement Solutions ProgramHighlights Objectives: Provide resources and expertise to assist WSCA/NASPO member states in bringing eProcurement solutions and services into their operations through utilization of the WSCA/NASPO eProcurement Cooperative.  Develop eProcurement Solution Project Managers Group to benefit implementations and collaborate on improvements in the solution. Develop the partnership between WSCA/NASPO and SciQuest. Utilize the success of the WSCA/NASPO eMarket Center as a powerful benefit and opportunity for program outreach efforts.

WSCA/NASPO eMarket CenterOverview Mission Statement: The WSCA/NASPO eMarket Center will make WSCA and NASPO cooperative contracts accessible through a single internet portal in order to drive increased usage of WSCA/NASPO volume-discounts by entities with participating addenda. We will motivate, train, and equip users to source, award, and electronically enable, volume-discounted cooperative contracts in order to fulfill the purchasing needs of all participating public entities.

Where We Are Headed? • Continue to enable supplier catalogs in the eMarket Center (Ongoing) • Identify pilot users within core states to receive initial training • Administer training with identified pilot users • Begin pilots of systems within Core States (Tentative Timing) Enrolling States (access to eMarket Center only) • Nevada/Utah – April/May 2012 Implementing States (access through their own applications) • Colorado – April 2012 • Oregon – August/Sept 2012 • Collect feedback from pilot users to make adjustments and tweaks as required. • Expand user base as pilots prove successful, probably in groups of three or four states • Phase II is to begin using eMarket Center for cooperative sourcing
