  2. Update on IT operations support for IPC Agenda: • PDF generation automation (IPCPDFPREP) • Internet publication redesign (IPCPUBPREP) • Categorization assistance in IPC (IPCCAT) • Definition translation assistance (IPCA6TRANS extension)

  3. PDF generation automation IPCPDFPREP • Software package to generate the PDF version of IPC in a given language from the XML scheme file. • Available under:http://www.wipo.int/classifications/ipc/en/ITsupport/tools/index.html

  4. Internet Publication Redesign IPCPUBPREP (visible under http://www.wipo.int/ipcpub): • change of strategy after CE41 • modification of Stage A and B • now targeted for IPC 2011.01 (current version of IPCPUBPREP used for 2010.01)

  5. Categorization Assistance in IPC IPCCAT under http://www.wipo.int/ipccat/ • New interface • https • English version with better coverage • Retrained with more recentdocuments (until 2008.12) IPC 2009.01 classified • training documents from a free and limited contribution of the IRF

  6. Categorization Assistance in IPC IPCCAT perspectives • retrain French version http://www.wipo.int/ipccat_fr • Retrained with more documents to IPC improve coverage • other languages

Definition Translation assistance IPCA6TRANSDEF toolkit • IPCA6TRANS extension (under IE6) • first part: translation from scratch (IPCDELTASTART) • Translation of definitions in future internet publication context (IPCPUBPREP) • output: translated XML definition file • output:ready for use by IPCPUBPREP
