  2. Introduction • Planning tool with the Bushfire Management Overlay (BMO) (Clause 44.06). • Allows the bushfire protection measures to be tailored to local circumstances. • CFA has established a schedule development team to prepare and assist with implementation of schedules.

  3. Introduction • Schedules are being prepared across the State and being led by various authorities/agencies. • DTPLI – pilots and via updated BMO mapping. • Councils – bushfire funding support and Council funding. • CFA – Streamlined BMO Schedule Project.

  5. Mornington Peninsula • First schedule was approved on 27 June 2013. • Schedule was developed as a pilot (led by DTPLI). • Subject land is currently affected by BMO.
