Session Aims • Give direction for the training and learning • General purpose of the session • Shows how learning will develop
Session Objectives • State what learner should be able to do after the session • Provide overall structure for session • Help in detailed planning • Provide basis for assessment
Instruction – Practice - Review • Instruction / demonstration • Exercise for practicing skills • Review of session topics
Element 6.1 & 6.2 • Develop two x session plans which would be implemented consecutively
You have been allocated a topic this will be demonstrated in the video recorded session • Produce a session plan for this topic (submit by email after the workshop) • Look at your Module Plan and find the topic either before or after the one you have been given • Produce a session plan for this topic
Hour 1 – Importing Objects • Learner objectives for session: • To improve various objects into a spreadsheet • To move and re-size imported objects
Training Methods • Demonstration • By showing the learners how to carry out a skill they will know what to expect when they try it for themselves • Explanations • Some skills/actions may require some explanations to reinforce learning

Hour 2 – Creating Charts • Learner objectives for sessions: • To create various types of charts and graphs using spreadsheet data • To edit and modify charts and graphs
