  5. What does my animal need to survive? • The Jaguars need to eat small animals, drink lake water and breathe air.

  6. What is a threat to my survival? • A hurricane and an earthquake are threats to my survival.

  7. What is a threat to my animal’s survival? • People liked the jaguars skin for coats and other things.

  8. How am I protected? • Our Mom and Dad protect us.

  9. How is my animal protected? • Jaguars are protected by people not shooting them.
