Aim To enhance the proficiency of port facility security staff in responding to emergency situations.
Objectives • Detect failure of the equipment within the time limit as specified in the PFSP. • Respond to failure of the equipment according to procedure in the PFSP.
Desired outcomes • Security staff will be able to: • Detect failures in surveillance equipment. • Perform the appropriate checks to verify the failure. • Report the failure and track the rectification process.
Control Team • Chief Controller: PFSO, Mr. AAA • Controllers • Equipment Technician – Mr. XXX • Safety officer
Players • Security staff on duty
Materials • 2 x surveillance system (camera, motion detector, etc) in working order
Scenario The security surveillance system has been experiencing some malfunctions recently. Security staff has been reminded to be extra vigilant in monitoring the systems in order to detect any malfunctions promptly.
Controller Tasks • To safely disable a surveillance camera remotely, or else without being observed • To safely disable a motion sensor remotely or else • without being observed

Safety • Physical safety of personnel is paramount • There is to be no physical contact between player and controllers acting as intruders, etc. • Security staff are not to use abusive language when talking to controllers acting as “intruders” • Do not neglect the safety of equipment
