ACTION PLANNER Teamwork: An Action Planner is simply a form to assist effective teamwork. In creating your action planner, consider components of backwards planning; a tool to organize effective TAP meetings; a measure for group accountability.
Goal Setting • Give as much autonomy to teachers to choose goals and data they believe will give the most leverage. Must be aligned to school-wide goals/focus. • Goals provide a basis for decision making and guidance to instructional decision making. • Goals enable teachers to gauge their success. • Goals promote collegial dialogue.
Performance Data On-going collection of data clarifies priorities and determines results focused actions Combined with collaboration, goals and data create conditions that enable if not compel teachers to request and offer advice and support to their colleagues.
