  3. Daily Warm-up • Review the following words: cryptic, reticent, penchant, modicum • Major Works Chart (due 5/1) (Use them in a conversation with one another.)

  4. As I Lay Dying • Logs: Continue to add insightful commentary for each quotation. • Open-ended essay reminders: • Two-sentence opener • Details • Focus on prompt and theme, not plot summary

  5. Open-Ended Essay • In some works of literature, multiple viewpoints of the same event or character are presented. Choose one character from AILD, and in a well-organized essay, discuss how the viewpoints of the various narrators combine to create an overall impression of that character.
