  1. All-Staff MeetingApril10, 2016

  2. CLINICAL ISSUES • Still recruiting providers for the adult department. Dr. McGowan has interviews set up for this week. There is a locums doctor starting in the next 2 weeks in the adult department • Shaneta will now oversee our scheduling process. She will meet with all staff that schedule and will monitor provider schedules daily to make sure that our providers are able to meet their productivity and our schedulers are scheduling patients appropriately. • Dr. Carson will be leaving the HCHC family. His last day is 4/15/16. We thank him for his service and wish him the best • All staff – please make sure when you give patients any paperwork that you double check and be sure the patient receives only their paperwork.

  3. ADMINISTRATIVEISSUES • Patient charts are to be stored off site at a HIPAA compliant facility. Available staff will be drafted to help with the project • Results of Employee Satisfaction Survey are out. HCHC did well compared to other health centers • Incident Report form has been updated and is located on the public drive. In cases of falls or injury, a photo is needed as well as the report. The camera is located in the AED bag in the alcove off the provider station at Simpson and at Scenic it is located in the medication cabinet in the provider area • Employee Assistance Program EAP is available or all employee who feel unable to cope with the stress of the work or have stressful situations at home. Service is free and confidential • We will be installing a new phone system in the next month or two. Now Scenic will just be an extension away and it has other bells and whistles that will be shared with staff who will need them

  4. OTHERISSUES/ANNOUNCEMENTS • CAPS Race 4/15/16. HCHC has folks who are walking/Running 5K as well as folks competing in “The Amazing Race”. Please support the staff members. • Renovation of adult area and waiting room etc. scheduled for May. Final plans are being reviewed. • CEO search is still in progress. Skype interviews with the candidates and the board scheduled for later on this week • Happy birthday to all staff with birthdays in April. Please enjoy a cupcake and cheers!
