  2. Main activities. Oleg Maev, 02.04.2012 1. Main issue is TELL1 FW still. Finally v5.0.9 has been chosen as a temporary (or even final) versionfor data taking. 2. Tuning of thresholds at width 4 (18 ns). 3. Emiliano was working on improving the Chamber Monitoring tool. 4. Default HV-recipes with nominal settings have been created and loaded in DB (saved in G:\muon\HV\HVRecipes\A(C)-side\CAEN(PNPI)\recipes-20120320). 5. First data taking at 8 TeV! --- Friday (TAE run) 0.3*10^30 cm^-2 s^-1 of lumi. --- Sunday (PHYSICS): activity - COLLISION, trigger configuration – PassThrough, taking data at 8kHz, Lumi - 0.3*10^30 cm^-2s^-1, peak mu ~ 1.8.

  5. Thresholds tuning and shorter width of DIALOG signals Oleg Maev, 02.04.2012 Thresholds tuning is completed for quiet state (w/o beam). Some work still have to be done with beam, mostly for inner regions in M2 and M3. Width is set to 4 (18ns) for a whole system, but two FEBs –M2C18A3_FEB07 andM4C30D_FEB00 (they became very noisy). Probably we have to extend the list with exceptions with beam. With present tools for recipe creation, after selecting the recipe for PHYSICS we should not forget to change the width for these two FEBs from 4 to 7 (28ns)! Also, two SYNCs are unmasked in DB: Q1M1R3_3/2 and Q2M1R1_3/23

  10. Proposal to increase the gain for several CMBs. Oleg Maev, 02.04.2012 Here is the list of chambers where we have set thresholds to high already and I expect them to be higher with beam. The main aim of increasing the gain is to prevent an inefficiency at that case.

  11. To be done. Oleg Maev, 02.04.2012 • Xavier will work on improvement of TELL1’s FW and Julien on L0MUON mismatches. • Threshold/width tuning with beam. • Tuning of timing with TAE data.
