Week 17/7/-23/3 – part 1 • Tue 17/7 (https://lblogbook.cern.ch/MUON/3672) • Problems with MUDAQA04W started, fixed by power cycling the SYSTEC • Moved M45A to another free half-SYSTEC with apparently good results • Replaced 2 SYNC board on ODE Q4M4R2_1 • Wen 18/7 (https://lblogbook.cern.ch/MUON/3676) • OPC server found to be in a starting/crashing cycle – Clara rebooted the PC then everything seem fine, but this PC is VERY slow… • Thu 19/7 (https://lblogbook.cern.ch/MUON/3682) • Problems again on M45 A-side – tried to use a good quality USB cable and situation seem to improve • As a consequence of the above problem one of the SB ELMB went into disconnected – solved by reset/start of this only ELMB (was this a fake status? Not understood…)

Week 17/7/-23/3 – part 2 • Fri 20/7 (https://lblogbook.cern.ch/MUON/3691) • Physics restarted after VdM scans • Trigger Optical link failure on Q3M2R21  2 ODE to be replaced • Sat 21/7 (https://lblogbook.cern.ch/MUON/3696) • MUDAQA04W problem again, OPC server keep crashing. Done most of the things that used to work, many PC reboots, impossible to talk to hardware. With the help of Enrico and Guoming we installed disks in a new PC hardware, still have problems. Tried to reinstall drivers and gone into troubles. Beam finally arrived at night but – LUCKILY – M45A still configured and we could take good data • Sun 22/7 (https://lblogbook.cern.ch/MUON/3701) • Guoming prepared a “fresh” PC that will replace MUDAQA04W – waiting for the right moment to replace it • Data taking continued and muon were still providing good data • Mon 23/7 () • Ready to replace 2 ODE and the MUDAQA04W PC as soon as possible

  4. Other info • HV trips • Only 6 in the last week • Electronics news • SYNC arrived: ~30 single slot + 4 triple-slot • Mudaqa04w last news: • New PC up and running • OPC server keep crashing • Enrico still making some test…
