  2. The present tense is used: -to describe what is happening now-I am watching TV.-to describe what usually happens- I watch TV every day.There is only one present tense in French:Je regarde- I am watching or I watch

  3. To use a verb in the present tense, you must change the infinitive according to a set of rules.You need to learn these rules by heart.- er verbs for example change their endings like this…

THE INFINITIVE When you look up a verb in the dictionary, you find its original, unchanged form, which is called the infinitive: regarder (to watch), finir (to finish), vendre (to sell) etc. The infinitive often ends in –ER, -IR or -RE PICK OUT THE 10 INFINITIVES arriver écouter finir avoir être aimer décider aller écrire faire regardes visite arriver finir avoir être se lève suis as finit aimer écouter décider va aller déteste est écrire faire joue
