WHAT WHY HOW WHO WHEN WHERE is CLISEL ? Clisel is a trans-European project that puts Local Authorities at the center of policy research into the effects of migration and climate change, and how the two processes are increasingly converging to create novel policy and security issues.

The pilot case study Italian region of Sardinia Involving 377 City councils from around the Mediterranean, this project will work with European policy-makers to develop training, mobilisation and further dialogue that aims to balance European security with a commitment to social justice and multiculturalism within a period of rapid climate change. model of integration and of immediate action
CLISEL will organize a series of initiatives that involve and mobilize mayors and local authorities in Sardinia. CLISEL will contribute to understand their perspective on the current and future implications of the climate-security-migration nexusand to mobilize their expertise in order to envision innovative approaches.
