  1. Perfect Passive Participles • Perfect Passive Participles, like Present Participles, are verbal adjectives. • Present Participles, in Latin, are 3rd Declension Adjectives. • Present Participles are translated “______ing” • Examples: Video virumambulantem – I see the walking man.

  2. Perfect Passive Participle Forms: • The Perfect Passive Participles use the same endings as 1st and second declension adjectives. • Hooray! No new endings! • A verb’s 4th principle part is the PPP of the verb. • Example: laudo, laudare, laudavī, laudatus • From laudatus, we can decline it in the feminine and neuter genders by using 1st and 2nd declension endings(see the back wall). • laudatus – masculine • laudata – feminine • laudatum - neuter
