  1. Welcome JapaneseOverseas Cooperation Volunteers My name is Blanche Boles.

  2. I was born in Natchez, Mississippi. Natchez is located by the Mississippi River. When I lived in Natchez, I loved to sit by the river and watch the river.

  3. I moved to Belize 22 years ago. I love to watch rivers and sunsets. I like to watch monkeys and birds too.

  4. I am 57 years old. I am married, and I have one son. My husband’s name is Ed, and my son’s name is Reeve. My husband teaches at the University of Belize. My son is a university student.

  5. I love nature.

  6. I have 5 dogs, Ruby Rose, Tio, Earth, Fire, and Rain. Ruby Rose and Tio are the parents of Earth, Fire, and Rain.

  7. I started teaching in 1979. I taught Special Education, Art, English, Literature, and English as a Second Language. I started teaching English as a Second Language in 2002.

  8. In my free time I like to travel, read, swim, paint, play with my dogs, use the computer, listen to music, take photos, spend time with family, and visit friends. I like to dance too.
