AAES Activities • Disseminate information to Member Societies on opportunities: • To provide members who travel internationally the chance to engage foreign audiences in conversation about the engineering profession (through partnership with the State Department) • To participate in grant proposals • To engage with governmental agencies • Facilitate communication and collaboration among US engineering community • Focusing on STEM, Lifelong Learning, Grand Challenges
AAES Activities • Annually cohost Convocation with the National Academy of Engineering • Topics of importance to the national engineering community • Awards • Seven awards recognize leading engineers • All Member Societies are eligible to nominate
AAES Working Groups • Engineers Forum on Sustainability • Interdisciplinary discussions and information exchange • International Activities Committee • Forum for international engineering practice • Liaison to WFEO, UPADI • Diversity Coalition • Collaboration to promote and be a catalyst for diversity and inclusion
